Hardware

Our hardware department is the flagship section at May Hardware. We learned early that in a small remote town, having a wide variety of merchandise on the shelf, with ample depth in fast moving items, is vital to serving our customers. 

The basic items, such as, screws, bolts and fasteners are well stocked and broad in variety. Starting with grade2 bolts, grade5 bolts, grade8 bolts stainless bolts, lag/carriage bolts, this area continues with a large selection of machine screws, tapping screws, wood screws and specialty fasteners. Teaming up with Hillman Group brought a large portion of this well known national fastener supplier’s stock to May Hardware. Hillman also has a great selection of hardware related items including springs, clips, clevis pins, metric bolts and rubber/nylon parts. 

Hinges, hasps, hooks, hangers, screw products,door stops and all related hardware can be found here. We have a good selection of shelving materials. 

Kwikset, Schlage, Weiser, Emtek and Medeco are some of the major lock vendors that are available. We stock a very large assortment of Master locks and have a great selection of specialty lock equipment. Door closers, thresholds and weatherstrips, and other door related products are well represented. Key duplicating, rekeying and many other lock services are available.  

Although May Hardware does not stock any lumber or plywood, we have a good selection of building products. Nails, fasteners, bath vents and fans, stovepipe, insulation, weatherstripping and more.
